Premiership - It's a walkover for The Right Stuff
The Right Stuff remain top after a 3-0 walkover win. AC Cricketers remain 2nd despite going down 6-2 against Olympus Mons. In the other games relegation candidates AFC Finham drew 1-1 with Memories of Olof whilst Hodcarrier spanked FC nam 8-1.
League 1 - Sloths are slow to get going
Sloth Burger remain bottom after losing 5-3 to Boomting Utd for whom Sam Bicknell, James Slack and Sean Henry were amongst the scorers, Slack also netting at the wrong end after converting a saved penalty past his own keeper! Western Bulldogs won 4-0 against Wonderball and the pick of the goals was a fine solo effort by Danny Salter who mazily sauntered through a flat footed defence before slotting the ball in the corner of the net. KFC remain top after a 3-1 win over Leamington Diamonds whilst Hodcarrier Reserves move into the promotion spot with a 3-2 win over Range Rovers.
League 2 - A battle at the top
The previously 2 unbeaten teams went head to head this week and Rio's ran out comfortable winners with a 6-0 whitewash of FC Spartans. Red Stripe Belgrade won 3-2 against bottom team Real South Leam in dramatic style. Stripe took the lead through Captain Phoe who was then caught napping to allow Leam to level the score. Dragan made it 2-1 at the break but despite several chances it was Leam who again pulled a goal back to tie the game. Harboard managed to seal the win with time almost up despit the best efforts of the oustanding Real South Leam keeper to get something for his team. Warwick Castilla went down 0-4 against The Club whilst Team Dhaaay won 5-1 against FC Bully's Brawlers despite only having 5 players throughout the game.
League 3 - Evil Monkeys in a mauling
Evil Monkeys ran out 8-0 winners against Hatton Park Rangers to move up to second whilst the league leaders AC Me Lads won 4-2 against Real Sociopaths. SMT Devels won 4-0 against Smith & Nephew thanks to some excellent defending from Neil Hardstaff and Paul Crowther and goals from Martin Hancock (2), Danny Fagan and Dan Smith. In the final game Betteridge Kickers and Nashwhite played out a 4-4 draw.
League 4 - Mixed fortunes for new boys
With new teams entering league 4 it became more of a competiton and new team Real Galac-ITC-os came out 2-1 winners over veterans Milverton SFA. The other new team Young Boys failed to get off to a good start and went down 6-3 to The Great Western. Image+ are in 2nd spot after a 2-0 win over Flat Caps and Whippets whilst league leaders Clueless Academicals got 3 points from a 3-0 walkover win.
